In Cretan mythology Pasiphae, the wife of king Minos, fell in love with the bull and subsequently gave birth to the half-man, half-bull, minotaur and so to these day you can find these bulls all over Greece - but rarely quite so delicious!
Sometimes, the most interesting pieces come together from elements seemingly at odds with each other. Who would have thought that Horses in rich blue-green copper Verdigris have a natural partner in sea glass beads and Indian Hessonite (a dark orange version of garnet), Carnelian and warm Agates, all comfortably saddled on the horse' back!
